Lists
A list is a named, saved collection of products for recurring analysis and competitive monitoring. Each list belongs to your workspace, and your whole team shares it.
A list is either fixed or dynamic. A fixed list holds the products you add to it by hand. A dynamic list holds the products that match a set of rules, and its membership updates as your data changes. See Dynamic lists.
The Lists overview page
Section titled “The Lists overview page”Go to Lists in the main menu to see all lists in your workspace as cards. Each card shows the list’s name and how many products it contains. A fixed list’s card also shows the description, if one was set. A dynamic list’s card shows a Dynamic badge and a sentence that summarizes its rules instead.
When at least one list exists, a switch beside the Create list button filters the cards by type (all, dynamic, or fixed). If no list of the chosen type exists, the page says “No dynamic lists yet” or “No fixed lists yet”.
Click a card to open that list’s detail page.
If no lists exist yet, the page shows an empty state that prompts you to create your first one. If the lists cannot be loaded, the page shows “Could not load lists.” with a Retry button.
Creating a list
Section titled “Creating a list”Click Create list at the top-right of the overview page to open the creation dialog.
- List name, required. A short, meaningful label for the collection.
- Description, optional. Extra context that appears on the overview card.
Click Create list to save. The app automatically opens the new list’s detail page. A new list is fixed. To make it dynamic, add rules on its detail page.
The list detail page
Section titled “The list detail page”The detail page shows the products in a list as a table, 10 products per page. The product count appears below the table. When the list spans more than one page, “Page X of Y” and page links appear beside it.
A fixed list with no products shows an empty state with an Add products button. Where dynamic lists are available, it also has an Add rules button.
Where dynamic lists are available, the page header shows the list name, and the List actions menu at the top-right lets you rename the list, delete it, or, for a dynamic list, make it fixed.
Products table
Section titled “Products table”Each row is one product in the list. The columns are:
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Product | Product image and name. Links to the Product Detail page |
| EAN | The product’s EAN / GTIN barcode |
| Competitive Position | Compares your price for the product with the average price charged by your tracked competitors. Shows ”↗ Higher” (red) when your price sits above that average, ”↘ Lower” (green) when it sits below, and ”— Inline” (muted) when the difference is within about 1%. When you have no price of your own, or none of your tracked competitors has a price for the product in the same currency as yours, the column shows a plain ”—” with no label and no tooltip. Hovering the ”↗ Higher” / ”↘ Lower” / ”— Inline” label shows the numbers behind it: how many competitor prices were averaged, the average price, and the percentage difference from your price |
| My price | Your own price for the product, or ”—” if your retailer has no price on record for it |
The EAN, Competitive Position, and My price columns apply only in workspaces without dynamic lists, where the List actions menu and Add rules do not exist. Where dynamic lists are available, every list’s table shows a selection checkbox, the product (image, name, and brand and category under the name), and a row menu. On the In list tab of a dynamic list, a Pinned column marks pinned products.
Price position breakdown
Section titled “Price position breakdown”The list’s price-position breakdown, how many of its products are priced lower than competitors, inline, or higher, is not shown anywhere in the UI. It is only available to the AI Assistant (Chat) as page context while you view that list’s detail page. If you ask about a list from elsewhere in the app, the assistant returns only the list’s name, description, and product count. It does not return the breakdown.
Searching within a list
Section titled “Searching within a list”Use the Product search box to search the whole list by product name or EAN, not just the products on the current page. Results update shortly after you stop typing, and a new search jumps back to the first page.
Adding products
Section titled “Adding products”Click Add products to open the product picker dialog.
Where dynamic lists are available, the dialog is full screen. It uses the same filter bar as the Products page and pages through the results. Select products on a page, then choose the link that selects every product matching your filters, so there is no 100-product limit. A Clear selection link clears the selection. On a fixed list, the dialog also offers “Want these to stay in sync? Use these filters as rules instead.” Click Use as rules to open the rule editor with your filters as the starting rules, or Dismiss to hide the hint.
In workspaces without dynamic lists, the dialog has a similar but smaller set of filters than the Products page:
- Search, by product name or brand
- Brand and Category dropdowns, single-select
- Add filter, more filters for assortment, availability, price range with a histogram slider, and competitor. The assortment options are all, my products, exclusives, common, and competitor only.
That dialog does not include attribute filters or a price-position filter.
Check individual products, or use Select all to select all products currently loaded in the dialog. The dialog loads up to the first 100 matches for your current filters. If more than 100 products match, narrow your search or filters to bring the products you want into view before you select them. The dialog shows how many products are currently selected. Click Add (N) to confirm.
Removing products
Section titled “Removing products”Where dynamic lists are available, open a product’s row menu and choose Remove from list. To remove several products, select rows with the checkboxes. A bar at the bottom of the page shows the selection count. Click Actions (or press ⌘ K, Ctrl K on Windows) and choose Remove from list, or click Clear to deselect the rows.
In workspaces without dynamic lists, select one or more rows with the checkboxes. A banner appears at the top of the table and shows the selection count. Click Remove from list to remove the selected products, or Clear selection to deselect them.
Deleting a list
Section titled “Deleting a list”Click Delete in the toolbar and confirm in the dialog. Where dynamic lists are available, you can also open the List actions menu and choose Delete list. Deletion is permanent. The list disappears from the Lists page and from every product’s Lists tab. The products themselves are not affected.
Dynamic lists
Section titled “Dynamic lists”A dynamic list is a list with one or more rules. Every rule must match, so a product joins the list only when it satisfies all of them. A rule can match on:
- brand
- category
- an attribute value, number range, or text
- availability (available or unavailable)
- a price range
- price position against chosen competitors
- an open MAP violation
- a competitor being out of stock
- products first seen within a number of days
The detail page shows the rules as a sentence under the list name, with a Dynamic badge. The list updates itself about once a minute. While you have a dynamic list open, the page refreshes every 30 seconds, so products that join or leave appear without a reload. The page shows when the list was last updated, and a “Joins” badge marks products that have just joined.
Adding and editing rules
Section titled “Adding and editing rules”Click Add rules on a fixed list to turn it into a dynamic one, or Edit rules on a dynamic list. The rule editor previews the products that would be in the list, and you save or cancel your changes there. The page pauses its automatic refresh while the editor is open.
You can also start from the Add products dialog and use its filters as the starting rules.
Members tabs
Section titled “Members tabs”A dynamic list has three tabs:
- In list, the products that are currently in the list, with the count.
- Pinned, products you pinned. Pinned products stay in the list, also when they do not qualify.
- Excluded, products you excluded. Excluded products stay out of the list, also when they qualify.
A pinned or excluded product that no longer matches the rules shows a “Does not qualify” badge.
Each row has a menu with Pin, Unpin, Exclude, and Remove exclusion. An action that takes a product that does not qualify out of the list is labelled “(leaves list)”. Select several rows to change them together with the Actions button at the bottom of the page, or press ⌘ K (Ctrl K on Windows). The table sorts by product name, ascending or descending.
If no products match the rules, the page says that no products qualify now and keeps the rules, and products appear when they qualify.
Making a list fixed
Section titled “Making a list fixed”Choose Make fixed… in the List actions menu and confirm. The list stops using rules and keeps its current members as a fixed list.
The per-product Lists tab
Section titled “The per-product Lists tab”Every product has a Lists tab on its Product Detail page. The tab shows every list that currently contains the product, as cards. Each card shows the list name, when the list was last updated, and a badge with the number of products in the list. A note below the cards states how many lists contain the product.
To add the product to another list, click Add to List. A dialog shows all existing lists that do not yet contain this product, with the current product count of each. Click any entry to add the product to that list immediately.
Managing lists via the AI assistant
Section titled “Managing lists via the AI assistant”The AI Assistant (Chat) can create, view, and modify lists through natural-language requests. Available actions:
| Request | What happens |
|---|---|
| ”Show me my lists” | Returns all lists with their names, descriptions, and product counts |
| ”Create a list called X”, with or without products | Shows a confirmation dialog with the proposed name and description and a product count verified by the server. The assistant creates the list only when you confirm |
| ”Add product Y to list Z” | Adds the product immediately. An Undo option appears to reverse the change |
| ”Remove product Y from list Z” | Removes the product immediately. An Undo option appears to reverse the change |
| ”Delete list Z” | Shows a confirmation dialog with the list name and product count. Deletion is irreversible and always requires your confirmation |
